The business is real
A name, an address, and a phone that resolve. We do not list places that only exist in a press release.

The business is currently open
We confirm it is taking customers today, not just once last season or in a directory that never gets updated.

Contact details are accurate
The phone answers, the address places correctly, and the website resolves. Wrong numbers get fixed or the listing waits.

The correct city is assigned
The directory is city-first. A business sits under the city it is actually in, so a reader in that city finds it first.

The listing is useful and locally relevant
It has to answer a real question for someone living in or visiting the area. That keeps the directory worth reading.
If a listing cannot pass all five, it does not run. No exceptions, no paid fast lane around the check.
