Privacy policy.

What CityGuideGA collects, why, and what we never do with it. Short version: the desk reads the submissions, nothing is sold, and you can ask to be forgotten at any time.

Who runs this site

CityGuideGA is an independent community resource written and edited by Rob Dietrich. The site is a companion to Rob Dietrich's real estate practice but it is not a real estate website and carries no property listings. This policy covers the site at cityguidega.huzi.site, which will later publish under cityguidega.com.

Information we collect through forms

Every form on this site sends its contents to the CityGuideGA desk email inbox, nothing else. Specifically:

  • Contact forms: your name, email, optional phone, and message.
  • Newsletter forms: your first name, email, city of interest, and the signup you chose.
  • Event submissions: event details, organizer name, email, phone, and any image link provided.
  • Business submissions: business details, a contact person, phone, email, website, and any image link provided.
  • Advertising inquiries: your name, email, phone, business name, city or cities, package of interest, and notes.

That is the whole list. We do not collect payment details on this site; the checkout forms on the Advertise page are hosted by our payment partner and are covered by that partner's own privacy terms.

Newsletters

Newsletter signups collect your first name, email, and city of interest, along with the kind of update you want: What's On This Weekend, new local businesses, new CityGuideGA city launches, or general updates. The list is managed by the CityGuideGA desk. You can unsubscribe with one reply, and you can ask to be removed entirely at any time.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses basic, privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages are read and how visitors arrive. It does not use aggressive advertising trackers, and it does not sell or share audience data. If analytics cookies are used, they are set only to count visits, never to build an advertising profile.

What we never do

  • We never sell, rent, or trade your information to outside marketers.
  • We never publish a submission without review: event and business submissions are held for verification first.
  • We never add you to a newsletter you did not choose.

How long we keep things and your rights

Submissions are kept as long as they are useful to the guide, and deleted when they are not. If you want to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, email cityguidega@gmail.com and the desk will handle it. No account is required to use this site, and there is nothing to log in to.
