Hoschton
The antiques village where city and track meet.
Hoschton is the south Jackson village just north of Braselton, a historic center around City Square with the old water tower by the shops. Its rhythm is monthly: the farmers market sets up at the depot green on the second Saturday, and most weekends default to antique-ing along the square.

Straight answers
Questions people actually ask about Hoschton
Is Hoschton worth stopping for?
It is a good half-hour stop, or a slow afternoon if you linger: antiques, tea, the coffee place, and the market on second Saturdays. It is Antebellum South without any of the crowds of a visitor city.
Is it a bedroom community now?
Partly. New neighborhoods have grown along its edges, but the square itself keeps its old pace, which is exactly what most people want from a village this size.
