About the guide
A city guide from the ground up.
CityGuideGA is a standalone editorial publication about living in Northeast Georgia: the cities and communities, the openings, the parks, and the places worth a detour. It is not a real estate site and never carries listings.
The writer
Rob Dietrich
Writer · local · practically-minded
Rob Dietrich is a Georgia REALTOR® with eXp Realty and the creator of community-focused resources designed to help people make smarter decisions about where they live, move, buy, sell, and invest. CityGuideGA is the editorial side of that work: the region's rhythm, written without hype.
The rule is simple. Only open, verifiable places get named. Opening dates come from the businesses themselves and are confirmed on site. When a tip does not check out, it does not run.
"I'll tell you what I'd do if it were my house." That is the whole method, applied to cities instead of houses.
The weekly freshness desk tracks restaurant openings and new businesses across the corridor, the city guides get re-verified on a rolling basis, and every page stays a readable, useful local answer.

The freshness desk
Restaurant openings, new businesses, and market dates, tracked and verified weekly on the New in the Area page.

City guides for all of Georgia
Every Georgia city gets a real guide at its own address: orientation, what locals love, parks, and straight answers, with the deepest coverage in Northeast Georgia, Gwinnett, and the Lake Lanier corridor, kept honest rather than scattered wide.
03
One quiet hand-off
This is an editorial site. When a city starts feeling like home, the same local who wrote the guide can walk you through the details.
