Sugar Hill is the last city before the lake on Gwinnett's north side, built around a new downtown and a set of big green parks. This list sticks to real places: the Bowl, the greenway, the market, and the parks that anchor the city's calendar.

1. The Bowl at Sugar Hill

The amphitheater at the heart of downtown, a tiered grass bowl that fills for concerts, festivals, and movie nights through the warm months. It is the city's living room.

2. Downtown Sugar Hill and the E Center

The new-urbanism district along West Broad Street with the E Center's gym and indoor walking track, the Eagle Theatre's stage, shops, and the plaza. It is compact and walkable.

3. Gary Pirkle Park

The 67-acre park with the turf sports fields, a large playground under a solar pavilion, a community garden, and 1.7 miles of paved, lighted walking trails along Richland Creek.

4. E.E. Robinson Park and the Sugar Hill Greenway

The greenway trailhead sits at E.E. Robinson Park, with the first stretch of paved trail open and more planned. It is the city's walking spine in progress.

5. Sugar Hill Farmers Market

Tuesday evenings through the warm months at the Landing plaza behind the Bowl, with produce, baked goods, honey, and food vendors. The city hosts it, so the city page carries the current dates.

6. The downtown table

Rreal Tacos, Shine Pizza, Central City Tavern, and Home Spun sit along the downtown line, with patios for the evenings after the Bowl lets out.

7. Sugar Hill Golf Club

The city's public course, a relaxed round close to downtown. Tee times book through the club.

8. The festival calendar

Sugar Hill runs a busy event year: the Sugar Rush Arts Festival and the Chili Cook-Off among them, most of them landing on the Bowl's lawn or the downtown streets.

9. The downtown splash pad

The splash area beside the downtown district is the fix for hot afternoons with young kids, a free answer before dinner on the street.

10. George Pierce Park

The 304-acre county park sits on the Suwanee line five minutes south, with the recreation center, disc golf, and the greenway trailheads. It effectively serves both cities.
