Transport and commuting · The I-85 corridor

Getting around Duluth

Duluth's road map runs east and west: I-85 at the western edge with several exits, SR 120 and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard carrying the local spine, and the historic downtown a few minutes off the highway.

Transit is the Ride Gwinnett county system, with the MARTA rail line a drive away at Doraville for the downtown commutes. Every route below is verified.

I-85

The interstate runs the city's west side with access at the main Duluth interchanges. Southbound it is the road to Atlanta; northbound, to Buford and beyond.

The local spine

SR 120 (Duluth Highway) and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard carry the local traffic, and the historic downtown sits a few minutes off the interstate on Main Street.

Transit

Ride Gwinnett, and the Doraville rail drive

Ride Gwinnett's county routes cover the corridor, and the park-and-ride options serve the express commuters. The MARTA rail line at Doraville is the rail answer for downtown Atlanta trips, a drive that is part of the commute math.
