Libraries serving Gainesville
Gainesville is served by the Hall County Library System, and the system's main branch sits right in downtown Gainesville at 127 Main Street. Three more branches, Blackshear Place, North Hall, and Murrayville, serve the wider city, and one card works across the whole county system.

The branch on the Thompson Bridge corridor toward Murrayville, serving the north and northwest edges of the area.
Spout Springs Library

The fifth branch of the system, on the Flowery Branch side of the county for households on the south end.
