Trick or Treat on the Square runs Friday, October 30, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on the historic downtown square: the stores hand out candy and the holiday weekend begins. Spooktacular History: Treats Through Time runs 2:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Northeast Georgia History Center, 322 Academy Street NE, trick-or-treating through the exhibits with a history theme. The Hall County Farmers Market holds a final Saturday, October 31, 9:00 a.m. to noon at 734 East Crescent Drive in its 53rd season, and the Scarecrows trail is on at the Atlanta Botanical Garden Gainesville on Sweetbay Drive through November 1, its closing weekend.
