Getting around Gillsville
Gillsville is a true crossroads: Highway 52 runs east and west at the Hall and Banks line, the county roads branch to the foothills towns, and there is no traffic light to speak of.
Gainesville is about twenty minutes away, Lula ten, and the mountain roads start at the stop sign.

The honest car note
There is no transit service in Gillsville; the town runs on cars, and the practical connections are the Gainesville corridor and the Lula crossroads, ten to twenty minutes away.
