Getting oriented · South Gwinnett
For New Residents
The first month in Grayson is mostly administrative, and the split is easy to remember: the city handles sanitation, planning, and programs, and Gwinnett County handles water, sewer, police, and fire. Set up the utilities, register to vote with the county, get a library card at the Grayson Branch, and the rest of the city opens up quickly.
This page is the orientation file: who does what, what to set up first, and the handful of places new residents actually need in the first month. Everything here is verified by name and location.
