The honest playground answer for a Grayson family is short and good: the city's own playground at Grayson Community Park behind City Hall, and two big county playgrounds minutes away at Tribble Mill and Bay Creek. Bay Creek adds the Unity Place special-needs playground, one of the first of its kind in Gwinnett.

The county sports park has playgrounds beside the ballfields, plus the Unity Place special-needs playground and ballfield, among the first of their kind in the county.

The mill-dam park on the Alcovy River has a playground and a picnic pavilion, with the historic mill ruin and waterfall for the walk after the slides.
