What Auburn runs, and what the counties keep
The city runs its own administration, the downtown block, the city parks, and the library. The county side handles the schools through Barrow and Gwinnett by address side, property tax, elections, and the county-level services.

Public meetings on a regular schedule
Council meetings are open to the public and run on the city's monthly schedule. The agenda, the meeting calendar, and the department contacts live on the official city of Auburn website.
