Getting around Lula
Lula is a crossroads town on the Hall and Banks line: US-441 runs north to Cornelia and the mountains and south to Gainesville, and the county roads east lead to the foothills towns.
Two counties, one town, and a car for everything: that is the honest Lula transport picture.

441 and the county roads
US-441 is the main route, and the county roads run to Gillsville, Clermont, and the foothills. The lake shore is about twenty minutes toward Gainesville, and the mountain roads start the other way.
Transit
The honest car note
There is no transit service in Lula; the town runs entirely on cars. The Gainesville corridor is the practical connection for the metro commutes, about twenty minutes south.
