Getting around Peachtree Corners
Peachtree Corners runs on its parkways: Peachtree Parkway is the city's spine, Peachtree Industrial and Holcomb Bridge carry the cross traffic, and I-85 and I-285 are both a short drive for the longer trips.
The city is car-oriented by design, with the walkable centers concentrated at the Forum and the Town Center, and transit running through the Ride Gwinnett county routes.
The roads
The parkway spine
Peachtree Parkway
The city's main road runs its length, carrying the Forum, the Town Center, and the office park traffic. The congestion concentrates at the shopping hours and the school bell times.
The cross routes
Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Holcomb Bridge Road carry the cross traffic, and the I-85 and I-285 interchanges are a short drive from the city center.
Transit
County routes and the honest car note
Ride Gwinnett's county routes serve the corridor, and the MARTA rail stations at Doraville and North Springs are each a drive. The honest note: Peachtree Corners is a car city with walkable pockets, and the parking at the centers is the busiest negotiating point of the week.
