Pinckneyville and the tech bet
The area was known as Pinckneyville in the early 1800s, farmland until Paul Duke launched Technology Park Atlanta in 1967, filling it with the offices and campuses that made the corridor what it is.
The city
2012 and the town center
Voters incorporated the city in 2012, and the new government built the Town Center district: the green, the city hall, and the programming that finally gave the area a heart of its own.
