Farmers Market in Winder
Winder has a real farmers market with a fixed home: the Barrow County Farmers Market behind the historic courthouse on Porter Street downtown. It runs Saturday mornings through the growing season, with local produce and goods from two dozen or more vendors.
A second market, the Winder Local Market at City Hall Plaza, runs Wednesdays and Saturdays and accepts SNAP and EBT. The markets' own pages carry the current season's schedule.

- Bring cash as well as a card; the small farm stalls still run on cash more often than the big stores.
