Dacula Government
Dacula runs under a mayor, council, and city manager form of government. A mayor and four council members are elected at-large to four-year terms, and a professional city manager handles the day-to-day administration.
The city was incorporated in 1905 and has operated under this structure since. Meetings are public and on a regular schedule.

The city runs its own core administration, the downtown core, and city parks like Olde Mill Park. The county side handles the schools through the Dacula cluster, property tax, elections, and the large parks including Dacula Park, Rabbit Hill, and Little Mulberry, which are Gwinnett County parks.
