Sports and Recreation in Atlanta

Atlanta is a pro-sports town with a deep amateur side: the stadiums and arenas downtown and in Cobb, the parks and rec leagues across every neighborhood, and the BeltLine carrying the runners, cyclists, and skaters.

This page covers the fields and courts that actually take reservations, plus the pro venues for the calendar.

The fields

Parks and rec leagues by district

The city parks department runs the recreation leagues and field reservations across the districts. Soccer, baseball, tennis, and the community-center programs fill the weekend fields; registration opens on the city's parks site each season.

The pro side

The stadiums

Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosts the Falcons and Atlanta United downtown; Truist Park sits in Cobb for Braves baseball; State Farm Arena hosts the Hawks. Each runs its own calendar and ticket office.
