Braselton is a car area with one walkable exception: the downtown core around Davis Street, where the restaurants, antique shops, and the Town Green sit close enough to park once and cover on foot. Everything else runs on Highway 53 and Highway 211, the two corridors that cross the city, with I-85 a short drive west for commutes toward Atlanta or the Mall of Georgia.
There is no transit inside the city. The daily pattern for most households is school, work, errands, with the driving distances that go with a spread-out town of about 34 square miles. The hospital, the grocery stores, and the downtown are all in town, which keeps most errands short.
