The town line does not decide a single attendance zone. The county line under the lot does. A Braselton address on the Jackson side covers the Jackson County School System; a Gwinnett side address covers Gwinnett County Public Schools; the Hall side covers Hall County Schools; and the Barrow side covers Barrow County Schools. Each district runs its own feeder pattern, calendar, and boundary map.
The phrase to trust is the one you hear on the street: check the address. The attendance zone for a specific lot is set by that district's boundary maps, and it can be different a street over. No builder's flyer and no real estate listing replaces the map.

The feeder pattern on the Jackson County side of Braselton runs West Jackson Elementary to West Jackson Middle to Jackson County High School. The district also opened West Jackson Primary in August 2024, serving the earliest grades on that side of the county line.
Gwinnett County side
Gwinnett County Public Schools
The Braselton side in Gwinnett feeds the Mill Creek cluster: Duncan Creek Elementary, then Osborne Middle, then Mill Creek High School, all along the Braselton Highway corridor.
Hall County side
Hall County Schools
The Hall County feeder for the Braselton area runs Chestnut Mountain Elementary or Friendship Elementary into Cherokee Bluff Middle, then Cherokee Bluff High School.
Barrow County side
Barrow County School System
Braselton addresses in Barrow County attend Barrow County Schools. The precise elementary and middle school chain depends on the lot, which is the standing rule: the district boundary map decides.

The official way: look up the exact street address on the boundary map of the district that covers your lot's county. Each district publishes its own map and its own family-resources pages with enrollment, calendars, and registration steps. No shortcut is more reliable than the district's own lookup.
Two honest warnings from the guide: an HOA name or a school-name area is not proof of a zone, and no claim that the town line changes a school is ever true. The zone is a district decision, drawn on the district's map, and it can be adjusted as neighborhoods fill.
