Braselton's parks split into two honest tiers: the town's own grounds, led by Braselton Park downtown with its splash pad and tennis courts, and the county and state greens around the four-county edge, from West Jackson Park's ballfields to Fort Yargo in Barrow County. Every name below is a real, open park, verified by name and location.

The town's main park behind the downtown block: a playground, a free splash pad open daily through the summer, two tennis courts, a picnic pavilion, and the big green where the festivals set up. The community center sits beside it with a community room and public restrooms.
Braselton Mulberry RiverWalk
940 Liberty Church Rd · the trail answer
A scenic out-and-back trail of about 4.4 miles along the Mulberry River, on crushed slate, with perennial gardens, footbridges, picnic spots, and benches. Free parking at the trailhead, open sunrise to sunset, and leashed dogs welcome.

West Jackson Park

Jackson County's sports complex about two miles from the downtown: multiple baseball and softball fields plus a t-ball field, a playground, a walking trail, and picnic areas. Note the park rules: no pets, alcohol, bikes, scooters, or inline skates on the grounds.

A short drive into Barrow County
The state park south of the city line: lake paddling and swimming, camping, and a quiet trail system around a 260-acre lake. The straight drive when the town parks feel familiar.

The winery resort's grounds are their own park on a weekend walk: the vine rows, the hills, and the long drives between the tasting rooms and the golf club.
The town is also working on a large park near the Mulberry River, planned with paved trails, a dog park, and picnic pavilions; it was still in development when this page was last updated.
