This Weekend in Braselton
The direct answer: Saturday morning, October 31 is Braselton's day. The Halloween Trick or Trot 5K steps off downtown at 8:00 a.m., and the Halloween PathParade and Carnival, the town's Halloween golf cart parade, steps off at 10:00 a.m. with its 2026 route through the Mulberry Park and Mulberry Walk area. Sunday afternoon, November 1, the North Georgia Winds and North Georgia Youth Winds open their seasons with the free Forces Behind Our Freedom veterans concert at 4:00 p.m. at the Historic Braselton Gym. This page only lists what is confirmed, and it will not pad a quiet weekend.
The checked nearby entries are Suwanee's Trek and Treat Fest at George Pierce Park on Saturday morning, the Hoschton Downtown Development Authority's Truck-or-Treat on Friday evening at City Square, and the Hamilton Mill Christian Church trunk-or-treat on Friday evening.
This weekend, October 30 - November 1
A 5K at 8, the PathParade at 10
The Halloween Trick or Trot 5K runs Saturday, October 31, at 8:00 a.m. through downtown Braselton, the costume-friendly warmup for the day. Then the Halloween PathParade and Carnival, the town's Halloween golf cart parade, steps off at 10:00 a.m. Hwy 211 widening work moved the 2026 route off Hwy 211 and through the Mulberry Park and Mulberry Walk area, after the event was initially in danger of being canceled; entries must be fully decorated and in line for judging before 9:30 a.m. at 12 Stone, 2675 Old Winder Highway, and the annual carnival follows in the parking lot at Primrose School, 2711 Old Winder Highway. The Antique & Artisan Festival filled the old square the previous weekend and has concluded; the farmers market returns the first Friday of November. The honest standbys of downtown Braselton, the Estate, and the parks stay open all weekend without a ticket. The Friday night before, a 10-minute drive up the old highway, the Hoschton Downtown Development Authority hosts its Truck-or-Treat in Downtown Hoschton from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 61 City Square Street, the town's confirmed Halloween stop.
What never needs a date
The evergreen standbys
When the calendar is quiet, the at-the-door options are not: the town park and the splash pad, the RiverWalk, the wine tasting at the estate, and the downtown block all run without a ticket.
