Mill Creek High School
Mill Creek High School is a public high school in the Gwinnett County Public Schools system, at 4400 Braselton Highway in Hoschton, Georgia, and it is the district high school for much of the Hamilton Mill side of Mulberry. The school opened in August 2004, and its students are the Hawks.

Mill Creek High School sits on Braselton Highway (the same road as State Route 124) at the Hoschton end of the corridor, just past the Hamilton Mill shopping area. Its mascot is the Hawk, and the school colors are cardinal, navy, and Vegas gold, the blend you will see on game nights and letter jackets across the cluster.
The school is part of Gwinnett County Public Schools, Georgia's largest school district. It is separate from the City of Mulberry entirely: the city has no schools, and Mill Creek is a county school serving whichever homes the district boundary map attaches to it.
When it opened
A 2004 school, built for the growth that was already coming
Mill Creek opened its doors to students in August 2004, with Dr. James Markham as its first principal and an initial enrollment of 2,538 students in grades 9 through 12. The school was built to serve the north Gwinnett growth of its era, the Hamilton Mill expansion that has only continued since. In the two decades since, it has become the established high school name for this stretch of the county.
If someone describes the north corner of Gwinnett as Mill Creek territory, this is the school they mean. Attendance is by address through the district boundary map; the school serves its attendance zone, not a fixed list of neighborhoods, so the address check matters.

The district feeds Mill Creek from Osborne Middle School, and the elementary chain feeding Osborne includes Duncan Creek, Fort Daniel, and Puckett's Mill. Much of the Hamilton Mill side of Mulberry runs the classic line: those homes to Puckett's Mill in the elementary years, Osborne as the middle school, then the drive up Braselton Highway to Mill Creek for high school.
Every piece of that chain is the district's decision, set by boundary maps and subject to change with redistricting. The feeder names stay useful shorthand for how an area schools, and the official map stays the final answer.
